Fundamentals -- This class is designed for people new to grappling balancing self-defense and sport jiu-jitsu.
This class focus on technique and drilling, there is no rolling.
Safety and technique are essential..
Women's class -- Similar to fundamentals but a class only for women with emphasis on techniques for smaller people.
Rolling is available but optional..
Regular class (gi/no-gi) -- Our primary class with emphasis on improving your overall jiu-jitsu game with a balance of technique/drilling/positional sparring/rolling.
Quality technique and dealing with a knowledgeable opponent are assumed.
There is plenty of rolling available, but always optional..
Intro session -- An introduction to brazilian jiu-jitsu for someone new to the art.
We'll cover some history, the idea of positional heirarchy, training methods, and then a few techniques to get you started on this amazing art and sport..
Open mat -- A time frame focused on rolling usually, though one can drill technique and ask questions as desired.
There is no formal instruction or assigned rolls.
Nothing is timed.
It's a very laid-back session..
Executive -- I want to add this!! A noon class two/three times per week...get in, train, get back to work.
