We have also taken a pivotal role in creating a culture of person-focused wellness in our healthcare system and in giving mental health consumers a voice in our state legislature.
Our unofficial motto has been, "No decision made about us, without us." Currently, NCMHCO focuses on providing free services to mental health consumers in North Carolina, such as Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) trainings, a free phone support "warmline" service, and funding TEAMS support groups for recovery.
