I have lived in Deer Lodge my whole life.
Over the past several years I have been battling some pretty severe health issues.
Last year, I began to have trouble breathing.
All the doctors told me it was asthma.
When it got to the point of hospitalization, docs finally decided to dig a little deeper.
At first it was asthma, now they were saying lymphoma! My family and I were devastated!! Surgery was scheduled to do a lung biopsy right away.
Turns out it was NOT lymphoma, but a rare and incurable auto immune disease called sarcoidosis.
This disease is very hard to treat and not a lot is known about it because it is different in everyone.
So far, treatment has consisted of high doses of steroids to shrink the tumors and lesions growing in my lungs.
While the list of side effects from this medication is very challenging, so far my lungs are looking much better.
However, I have had four surgeries this year alone and have had eleven in total to date.
My goal in selling my products is to raise money for the massive amounts of medical bills that my family and I are drowning in.
Every day is a new challenge for me and while some days it is hard to even get out of bed, the support of my friends and family helps carry me through.
