Detailed description is Serve our community The first meeting of the New Paris Lions Club was held on Dec 15th, 1954 in the EUB church.
Ladies night added the excitement of electing officers and organizing the new club.
Sponsoring Lions Clubs, Warsaw and Syracuse, presented the charter to the 22 members on Jan 15, 1955 at the community gymnasium.

Lions meeting were held in Reed's Cafe on the first and third Mondays of each month for 18 years.
When the cafe closed in 1972, the meeting place was moved to Sunnyside Park..
The club helps with different state and local organizations each year.
We help with Blessings in a Back Pack (which help provide children in the area with weekend food), eye exams and glasses, medical issues, adapt a family, leader dog, LCIF, New Paris Little League and many more.

Some of our activities include a Easter Egg hunt in the spring, a Halloween Party in the fall and Santa Clause visit at the bank in December.

Our fundraisers include a pork chop BBQ, the concession stand at the New Paris Little League, and a Sausage Sale in the spring and fall.
