We offer world class instruction in dance, fitness, martial arts and fencing for children and adults.
New England Movement Arts (NEMA) is a 501-©(3) non-profit, community-based, multi-activity facility offering world-class instruction in martial arts, dance, fencing, and fitness.
NEMA was founded in early 2013 by Melinda and Cosmin Marculetiu, both retired professional ballet dancers turned master teachers; Nathan Porter, a national karate champion; and Michael Chang, a black belt martial artist.
NEMA is conveniently located at 123 Muller Road, Burlington, MA, near the intersection of Route 128 and the Middlesex Turnpike.

The NEMA facility is housed in an 18,000 square foot warehouse adjacent to the Burlington Middlesex Commons and is within easy travel distance of Arlington, Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Lexington, Winchester, and Woburn.
The facility includes a martial arts dojo, two large dance studios, which also serve as a black box theater, and a gymnastics/fitness room.

New England Movement Arts aims to create a one-stop venue for children and their parents with the goal of offering efficient family scheduling of after school activities by allowing unified schedules for simultaneous classes and complete skill development classes.
Within our studios, New England Movement Arts offers youth and adult classes that cater to all experience levels and to both recreational and pre-professional students.
