Detailed description is New Beginnings Word Christian Church was founded by Pastor Robert D.
Brown, Sr.
in November of 2000.
With a few followers eager to start the new journey, the first Greeting/Meeting/Service was held at Olive Branch High School.
A total of thirty-seven, including two visitors were in attendance.
Several possible names for church were discussed by Pastor/Congregation.
On Sunday, November 19, 2000, the 2nd Meeting and 1st Official Sunday Worship Service as Organization) was held at Fairview Lodge #45 on Red Banks Rd.

The Church name, New Beginnings Word Christian Center, was announced by Pastor Brown.

After six years of worshipping, praising and trusting God through our hardships, God provided a way for New Beginning Word Christian Center to purchase 10.93 Acres of land paid in full!! Hallelujah!! God continued to show his love and miraculous blessings to NBWCC and, in 2008, when the church purchased a Steel building and it was delivered to the Church property July 17,2008 (balance paid in full)!!! Hallelujah!!!.

On September 12, 2008, the Church physical address of 2100 Red Banks Rd N Byhalia, MS 38611 was received from the Desoto County Planning Commission.
On July 17, 2009, the Church Building Permit was issued by Desoto County.
During October of 2009, additional Grading Land/silk screen/preparation for foundation, etc continued until November.
Due to weather conditions (rainy season) Mid-November until Mid-March 2010 all construction ceased..

God continued to show favor throughout the building process and NBWCC continued to keep the faith.
In April of 2010, the foundation of the churched was laid and the building project was well on its way…..On Sunday August 14, 2011, NBWCC final Worship Service was held at Fairview Lodge # 45.
The first Celebration Worship Service was held on Sunday, August 21, 2011, in the new sanctuary and God added a new partner to his Kingdom on that very same day!!!!.
