What began modestly as the Evening Star Cafe, a rollicking corner restaurant in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood, has now grown to include more than 20 restaurants, a wine shop, a bakery, a butcher shop and a full service catering business.
Combined, the group employs nearly 600 people and participates in a number of charitable projects to benefit Share Our Strength, Capital Area Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club of America, Alexandria Child Fund, Carpenter’s Shelter, DC Central Kitchen, and many others..
