Detailed description is Northeast OK Kennel Club is a member club of the American Kennel Club.
In addition to its annual AKC sanctioned all-breed dog show at the Grove Civic Center every April, NEOKC has worked very hard to become involved in the community.
NEOKC participates in the Grove Christmas Parade, the annual Grove Chamber of Commerce Home & Garden Show and assists local Animal Control.

Canine Ambassadors have presented Dog Safety Classes for elementary school children in Colcord, Grove and the Jay Boys & Girls Club.
Presentations have also been made before the Rotary Club, Grove City Council, Grove Senior Citizens Center and 1st Thursday Thoughts sponsored by Arvest Bank.

NEOKC sponsors Angel Paws, a group of Club members and their dogs registered through Therapy Dogs Inc.
Angel Paws teams routinely visit nursing and assisted living facilities in the area.
Also, several Angel Paws teams have bi-monthly READ visits at the Grove Lower Elementary School.
