Detailed description is Since 1993, Mystic Army Navy Store has been family-operated and run in historic Downtown Mystic, CT.
Not just a store; It's an Adventure! In August of 1993, Bert Dahl and Larry Gemma, both US Navy Veterans, opened Mystic's Army Navy Store in the heart of Historic downtown Mystic, CT.
Both were committed in their passion for honoring America's vets, and providing the public with some of the very best in outdoor gear, military surplus and collectible militaria alike.
By 1996 the store was an established landmark in Mystic, and our business was expanded to an additional store, located in the Olde Mistick Village, about 1 1/2 miles from downtown.
Following Bert's retirement in 2010, and Larry's death in October of 2013, the store is now owned and operated by Larry's beloved daughter, Michelle Gemma.
