aka Mystery Box Rally - Team Honky Lips!.

We became interested in the Mystery Rally after watching a documentary about the Shit Box Rally on TV (the Shit Box Rally is the big brother to the Mystery Box Rally).
Both Jarrod and I have lost family members and good friends to Cancer … and we have seen family and friends fight and win against Cancer too.

The ultimate push for both of us to step up and do more than make donations here and there, was the passing of our friends’ 15 yr old daughter … almost 9 months from her initial diagnoses, 9 days before Christmas and just 4 days short of her 16th birthday.

We decided to form a Mystery Box Rally team and raise as much money as we can towards Cancer research and have some fun with like-minded people in memory of our passed family and friends..
.
This will be our second time participating in the Mystery Box Rally, with the first being just last year.
We had an absolute ball, raised over $8,000 and met some absolutely wonderful people (some of whom are doing the Rally again with us this year)!.

For this year’s Rally we are required to source and purchase our own car which must be 25 years or older to use (and it can't be a 4WD).
We've already found our beauty and will be detailing her transformation both here and on our website..

As for the finer Rally details, all we know is that we leave Dubbo on the Saturday, 25th November and arrive back there on the afternoon of Wednesday 29th.
There will be long days, lots of dirt, cars that are very unsuitable for off-roading … oh and there is camping (yikes!).
