The concept of a Community Bank gained lots of support and from the day the branch opened its doors we have continued to grow, breaking even after 2 years and reporting our first profit in June 2005.
Since 2002 we have contributed more than $850,000 to community groups, returned $455,000 as dividends to shareholders, opened more than 10,000 bank accounts, approved loans in excess of $60 million, employed more than 50 local Hills people and had the active guidance of 27 local Hills people in their role as a director of our community bank..
