Die MOVE-Kletterhalle wurde 1993 eröffnet und war damals die erste Kletterhalle in NRW.
Seit der Eröffnung wurde die Kletterwand immer wieder modernisiert und erweitert.
Alle Kletterwände wurden von der Firma Entre Prises erbaut.
