Hi! My name is Anna Marie and Mountain Marie Adventures is my new program that gets kids outside while teaching them all about this unique location that they live in by being in Western North Carolina.
I grew up in these mountains and fell in love with absolutely everything about them.
I am now going to school to be an outdoor educator so that I can share my passion for the outdoors along with all the cool and unique things that come along with living in this area.
I am a mountain biker, back packer, rock climber, and kayaker, so you could say I love to do it all as long as it gets me outside.
My goal is to use Mountain Marie Adventures to spark a passion in the next generation of Western North Carolina locals so that they can get outside safely and have fun in all this beautiful nature around them, and they can also protect and know more about the lands that they walk through!
