He attended the University of Philadelphia, University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate schooling, and also attended the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, in which he received his dental degree.

Upon graduating from dental school, he entered the United States Air Force for five years serving in England and in the state of Florida.
In 2003, he was deployed to Kuwait during the Gulf War.
Shortly after, he was honorably discharged and moved to Huntingdon, Pennsylvania to start his dental practice.

He and his wife, Corinna, have four children: Thomas, Audrey, Drew and Trevor.
He enjoys raising and watching them grow.
Both Dr.
Wilson and Corinna are active with their children by sponsoring & coaching various sport teams and with their school acitivities..
Dr.
Wilson and his family are very active in the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Huntingdon, for which he holds the position of Elder.
