Em 2015 o Misty Fest celebrou a sua sexta edição como uma marca perfeitamente estabelecida e diferenciada: a melhor música, nas melhores salas e para o público mais exigente.
A história construída pelo Misty Fest desde a sua estreia em 2010 é absolutamente singular.
Assumindo-se como um festival urbano e outonal, o Misty Fest tem procurado igualmente oferecer espectáculos únicos aos seus públicos, desafiando artistas para apresentações irrepetíveis: foi assim, por exemplo, com a incrível homenagem a Joni Mitchel que reuniu vozes femininas como Mafalda Veiga, Márcia, Manuela Azevedo ou Amélia Muge.
Mas o carácter mágico do Misty tem-se igualmente reflectido em concertos que marcam a memória do seu público pela intensidade, pela entrega dos artistas, pelo reportório por eles escolhido.
Aconteceu com John Grant, com a homenagem de Peter Hook aos seus Joy Division, com a vénia de Lura a Cesária Évora..
O Misty Fest tem privilegiado a palavra, a música da lusofonia, a modernidade nacional, a qualidade internacional.
E tem crescido a olhos vistos: mais de 20 mil espectadores em 2013 e cerca de 30 mil na edição de 2014.
A aposta num cartaz de elevada qualidade para 2015 esteve garantida com concertos de artistas consagrados como Lenine, que veio do Brasil, Cinematic Orchestra, que chegaram de Inglaterra, Iron & Wine, dos Estados Unidos, ou, em estreia absoluta, os Dead Combo com As Cordas da Má Vida – um concerto novo em que a dupla de Tó Trips e Pedro Gonçalves se apresentou ao lado de um trio de cordas composto por Carlos Tony Gomes no violoncelo, Bruno Silva na viola de arco e Denis Stetsenko no violino, oferecendo ao público uma viagem inédita pelos mais emblemáticos temas da sua discografia.
