I, Matt Runnalls am 26 years old and like millions of others across the globe, share a story of a long running day to day battle with a chronic mental illness which has led to several close attempts on my life.
Throughout the last 13 years I have lost several close friends to suicide which has become the driving force and passion behind Mindfull Aus..
In 2016, with the help, support & backing from several amazing people and surrounded by some of the world leaders in Advocacy & Suicide prevention and the frequent demand for our support Mindfull Aus was created, a Registered Non-Profit Mental Health Charitable organisation..
Mindfull Aus was created to teach people what we wish we had of known growing up, bringing acceptance & hope to those who are struggling either directly or indirectly by mental illness & the ripple effect of suicide through awareness, confronting truths and unbeknowns of living with a mental illness.
Appealing to the youth of the country, we hope to use lived experiences and journeys of resilience to break down barriers of stigma, making it socially more acceptable for people to get the help and treatment they require to live a healthy, happy & enjoyable life.
