Detailed description is 6-generation family owned and operated livestock farm and country store.
Founded in 1922 by Robert P.
Diehl, Fairyland Farms started as a small farm operation with a few animals and developed to "a modern farm of over 1,200 acres" with various amounts of beef cattle, hogs, turkeys, horses, and the biggest sector of it all-- the dairy cattle herd.
With the dairy herd, Fairyland Farms became well established with their very own milk, butter, and ice cream.
In 1940 a small store, the Fairyland Farms Dairy Store (or the "Dairy Bar" as most said) was opened up on the farm where the home-grown "Famous Fairyland Farms Products" could be bought.
Since then, many of these dairy items (milk bottles, calendars, etc) have become quite sought-after antiques in the local area..

Aside of the animal and farming culture, Fairyland Farms was a place to visit and picnic with family and friends while listening to live music performance and also watch the famous Fairyland Farms Cardinals Baseball Team.

There are over 200 acres on the farm between the fields, woods, and barns.
Corn, soybeans, oats, rye, barley, and hay are all grown to provide for the beef cattle, sheep, poultry, and horses on the farm.
We also have a blueberry patch and a few small gardens of other fruits and veggies on occasion.
