高校生時代よりバイクにのめり込み、そのころ仲の良かった親友と「将来店を出す」約束を交わしたのが始まりでした。その後親友とはそれぞれ異なる道へと進路をとりましたが、互いにバイク業界で働き、将来の夢を捨てずに頑張っていました。しかし数年のち、親友に不幸があり、この夢は叶わぬこととなりました。しかし仲間より、親友が「一緒に店を立ち上げたときに命名する店名」まで決めていたことを聞き、僕一人でも親友との夢の実現を目指して独立したのがNEST（ネスト）です。.

勢いで独立したは良かったものの、最初は右も左もわからない状態で模索の日々を送っていました。そこで原点に戻って「地域密着型のバイク屋さん」というスタンスに立ち位置を変えてみました。僕が旧車と呼ばれるオールド・ノスタルジックバイク党だったこともあり、地元の同系統愛好者の方々が訪ねてきてくれるようになってまいりました。その後は少しづつですがお客様も増え、そんな中でも気の合ったお客様たちと旧車の国内最大級イベントである「テイスト・オブ・フリーランス（現テイスト・オブ・ツクバ）」にも参戦、そのころからさらに仲間やお客様も増えていきました。順位を競うイベントだけにさらに上を目指し、今でも毎年参戦し続けています。.

このイベントをはじめとした参加にて交友関係も拡大、ショップなどの業界関係者様たちとの輪も広がりました。そしてこの輪から派生したプロジェクトは、アメリカのアリゾナ州エル・ミラージュで開催される「最高速アタック」へとつながり、光栄にも一昨年よりスタッフとして海を渡ることがかないました。地域密着型としてお店のスタンスを変更したことが、地域の枠を超え世界の舞台にまでたどり着いたのです。上や世界を見据えて目標にすることは大事ですが、基盤である足元（地元）を大切にするからこその結果と心得え、今後も「福島県から旧車バイク業界を支えていけるようなお店」として頑張っていきたいと思います！.
