Segundo o próprio, "a ideia não é só tornar a praça étnica nem misturar um pouco de toda a gente, mas juntar o projeto à requalificação do bairro e trazer-lhe sangue novo, um toque de modernidade.
Não queremos trabalhar só a praça, queremos fazer crescer uma nova cidade dentro da cidade"..
Os quiosques já existentes na praça Martim Moniz serão transformados em restaurantes de comida rápida, onde poderemos encontrar vários sabores: chinês, indiano, alemão, italiano e não só.
No centro da praça surgirá uma esplanada com mesas e capacidade para cerca de 300 pessoas.
Estes restaurantes multiculturais estarão abertos de segunda a domingo durante todo o ano, com animação redobrada para o fim-de-semana, com concertos, workshops, debates – sempre dentro deste ideia de multiculturalismo.
