Detailed description is Meals on Wheels of Wyoming Valley is a non-profit organization that provides nutritious, home-delivered, low cost meals to senior citizens.
Currently, more than 100 individuals, regardless of their age or income status, receive a home-delivered lunch each day, Monday through Friday.
A registered dietitian directs the program, and supervises the preparation of the meals each day.
Diabetic diets are also available.
As a means of respite for a caregiver, our meals can be delivered to an individual for a temporary period of time.

The home delivery includes a hot meal which features an entrée, starch and vegetable as the main meal of the day, as well as a cold boxed lunch consisting of a sandwich, bread and butter, dessert and a snack.
The cost is only $6.00 per day.
