Detailed description is Matt Vrakking Photography is the result of my creativity and passion for photography combined together.
At the moment it is just a name behind what I plan to make an empire.
Recently Graduated from my Advanced Diploma of Photography course I'm a 24 year old Adelaide (Australia) based photographer.
I specialise in Fashion, Portraiture and Advertising Photography but I'm also available to be booked for events and private functions..

At the end of 2012 I graduated from a two year Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography course which I studied at TAFE SA's Creative Industries Campus at Tea Tree Gully.
My passion for photography began at a young age and has continued to grow stronger and stronger ever since.
I was always creative as a child and teenager but it wasn't until I first started studying photography in year ten when I realised this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life..

During my studies at TAFE I got the opportunity to work with one of my all time favourite Australian Fashion Photographers, Peter Coulson.
This was an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity as I got to work one-on-one with Peter and learn about how to interact with models, his favourite lighting techniques and editing styles as well as getting an inside look into the life of a fashion photographer, it was at this point in time I had no doubt about it that I'm in the right industry..

Throughout 2013 & 2014 I have been building up my portfolio, assisting local photographers as well as taking on a number of freelance/commissioned shoots.
2013 was my first year on my own within the industry and was the year of opportunity for my photography.
None of it came easy though, its been a long journey to get to where I am today but I couldn't have done it without the support of a number of industry professionals who I really admire.
Towards the end of 2013 I started to collaborate with Adelaide's top fashion photographer Simon Cecere, working by his side for the majority of the Adelaide Fashion Festival.
After the festival had come to a close I continued to work with Simon assisting for a number of his own commissioned photoshoots..

Working with Simon opened so many doors for myself within the Adelaide fashion and photographic industry.
I returned to the Adelaide Fashion Festival again in 2014 to once again collaborate with Simon.
It was around this time when I was introduced to the Managing Director of Azalea Models, little did I know this was another door opening.
Towards the end of 2014 I began my ongoing collaboration with Azalea working with a number of their top models and new faces to start to build up their portfolios..

Which now leads to where I'm currently at in this crazy journey of making my dream become a reality.
I love what I do and I'm looking forward to seeing where my future takes me.
I have already set a number of goals myself to achieve over the next ten years and I can't wait to start crossing them off my list but at the same time enjoying every step of the journey along the way..
