Located at Hazelnut Ridge Farm, the studio building began life as a carriage house.
In 1987, it was transformed into a music studio, allowing the owner to work without leaving her family; and, to provide an opportunity for gifted, but studioless, musicians to share their talents.
The instructors believe that music is a gift and a pleasure that lasts a lifetime.
Quality, non-competitive, music instruction, provided by qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic instructors should be available to all ages and levels.
That this philosophy has served well is evidenced by the growing number of returning adult and second generation students!.
In addition to classes and lessons, there are recitals, workshops, and demonstrations scheduled throughout the year.
Students are encouraged to participate in as many of these opportunities as appropriate..
There are 4 recitals per year: Halloween Costume Recital, Christmas Recital, Classical Recital, and Pops Recital.
When appropriate there may be additional recitals such as:Adult dinner recitals, Advanced Student Recitals.
All school aged students are required to participate in a minimum of three recitals epr year..
Examples of workshops are: Practice Workshop, Musical Movie and Pizza Night, Meet a Concert Pianist, Care and Feeding of Your Piano.
Pre-registration is required and a minimum number of students is established for each workshop.
