Detailed description is Marwari College, Ranchi was established in 1963 by Marwari Shiksha Trust entrusted with the task of promoting educational institutions in the state of Jharkhand.
It has established several educational Institutions in and around Ranchi.
The First President There is a total of 24 Departments in the college to offer UG programmes in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and a P.G.
programme in the faculty of Commerce.
The college offers 17 Vocational Courses including Add On courses.
There are about 17,000 students studying in this College.
The size of the courses offered by this college and the number of the students studying in this College gives it the stature of a mini University..
The College has four Computer Laboratories, eight Laboratories for General Courses, one Central Computer Center, one Reading room where journals and standard reference books are available.
