Detailed description is シェアオフィスとピザ屋とレンタルフロア。ボロボロか、ビンテージか、廃ビルか、アンティークか。田舎の商店街に佇む、秘密基地的なビルです。 1962.
昭和37年（1962年）中井濱次郎氏によって富士市吉原に建てられたRC造地上3階地下1階のビル。その後、昭和45年（1970年）丸一産業株式会社に転売され4階部分を増築。丸一ビルと呼ばれるようになる。東海道の宿場町「吉原宿」として発展を続けた吉原商店街の中心に聳え立っていたこのビルで、数多くのドラマが流れ、築５０数年を経過。いつしかこのまちも「シャッター商店街」などと囁かれることとなり、2010年頃に最後のテナントも撤退。その後は手つかずのまま、廃ビルとして一切の関心が向けられることもなく放置されていた。.

そう言わせたい。「ここまでいっちゃってるビルを、あぁ！と驚くような方法で変化させ、周辺の同じような境遇のビル（ビルオーナー）へも波及すれば。」と語る新オーナーが現れたのが2013年。NPO法人東海道・吉原宿代表で、富士山まちづくり株式会社を立ち上げた佐野荘一氏。商店街に大量にストックされたビンテージ物件へ自ら足を運び、見て触り、オーナーと会話をすることで、眠っている建物やスペースだけでなく、その周辺にあるコミュニティにも良さや味があることを十分に理解してきた。それら既存の魅力を活かした再生を行うことで、行政主導の大規模な都市開発とは違った、地域に根付いた本質的なまちづくりに取り組んできた。.
そんな新オーナーから、プロジェクトの進行と運営を任せられたのがenpitu.coというクリエイター集団。"街に溢れる「もったいない」を能動的な想像力と行動力で変化させる" と謳う彼らは、イベント〈商店街占拠〉の開催を通しそのコンセプトを表現し、新しい流れを生み出すことを模索していた。こうして動き出したプロジェクトは、まさに自分たちの手で古い部分を壊す作業から始まり、数々の問題にぶつかりながらも徐々に進み、2015年11月、MARUICHI BLDG.1962 として生まれ変わった。.
