Recently, the Marching Thunder traveled to Rome, Italy, and performed in Rome's 2017 New Year's Day parade..

The Marching Thunder has also performed at the following NFL stadiums: Paul Brown Stadium (Cincinnati Bengals), Heinz Field (Pittsburgh Steelers) and Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis Colts)..

Additionally, the band has traveled to Ft.
Worth, Texas; St.
Petersburg, Florida; Detroit, Michigan; and, most recently, Annapolis, Maryland, for the Military Bowl and Dallas, Texas, for the Conference USA Championship game that included Marshall versus Rice University.
