With a toaster oven, a 2' x 2' preparation space, a 2 burner electric hotplate, and raw food we have purchased, and donated by a local food pantry, The Marison Project was born..

We (co founders Marc Coen and Becky Gruhl) create ready-made meals from donated raw food as an effective way to support the volunteer kitchen staff and guests at the La Puente Home; an emergency shelter in Alamosa, Colorado.

Our goal this year is to expand our useful reach to three additional Colorado shelters.
.
Additionally, as fresh water can be truly difficult to access for those without traditional housing (especially in winter), we are exploring several avenues for water distribution in order to address this issue..
.
Meanwhile though, we are only 2 people, and because this is a large (and growing) project we have some monthly operating costs to address in order for us to continue providing this level of service..
