Detailed description is Penn State School of Music's annual festival and high-school and collegiate competitions will take place January 22 and 23, 2016.
Welcome to Penn State's Marian Garcia Piano Competition and Teacher Workshop! This year's event includes two piano competitions (one for collegiate students and one for high school students), piano teacher workshops, recitals, and masterclasses presented by Penn State piano faculty members Christopher Guzman, José Ramón Méndez, and Timothy Shafer.

The high school division competition is open to students currently in grades 9-12 and currently residing or studying in the United States.
