Detailed description is Our school is found in a semi-rural setting in the heart of Mapleton, a small community of about 1000 people located on the crest of the Blackall Range.
We are about 120 kilometres north of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia.
Mapleton is 13 kilometres west of Nambour and about 380 metres higher..

From our school, the whole of the Sunshine Coast is spread out at our feet, from the Cooloola Coloured Sands and Noosa in the north to Caloundra and Moreton Island in the south.
Looking east, we can see over the green and fertile lands of Dulong and Kureelpa, and down the Petrie Creek valley to the Pacific Ocean.
