WHAT'S A CSA?.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a simple and impactful way to support local food.
You sign up at the beginning of the season for weekly food boxes throughout the growing season.
Your CSA membership supports us as your farmers by providing money at the beginning of the season when we need money most for seeds, equipment, labour, and other expenses..

Together we create a community relationship between you and our farm throughout the growing season.

Our CSA is a win-win because you as a member get fresh, locally grown vegetables every week and you remove some of the financial risk of farming for us.

HOW IT WORKS.
When you join our CSA, you'll receive 20 veggie boxes over 20 weeks from late June to November filled with fresh, local veggies of your choice.

If you join partway through the season, you only pay for the weeks remaining in the season.
If we have a surplus harvest, we share in the bounty by offering our members extra vegetables to take home!.

WHERE AND WHEN DO I GET MY VEGGIE BOXES?.
Beginning in June, you can get your veggies any of the following ways and change from week to week according to your schedule and convenience:.

Pickup on Tuesdays, 4-7pm - Charlottetown Farm Centre, 420 University Avenue (next to Sobey's).

Pickup on Saturdays, 9am-12pm - Charlottetown Farm Centre.

Home delivery Island-wide from our friends at TopFeed.ca, PEI's local food home delivery service.

ARE YOU ORGANIC?.
Growing healthy food in harmony with the environment is our top priority.
We aren't certified organic yet, but we're working on it.
We use the same organic growing methods that have been practiced on our land for the past 25 years..

All of our produce is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
We also implement crop rotation, which is important for maintaining the health of our soil.
Our growing practices are in line with the Organic Products Regulations of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Canada's official organic certification board..

HOW CAN I HELP?.
#1: Be a customer! Our customers participating in our Weekly Veggie Box program support us financially and as our community inspiration, making it possible for us to continue doing our work..

#2: Spread the word! If you're already a customer or unable to order this year, word of mouth is our best friend! We have plenty of spots in our CSA still open, so please spread the word to your friends, family, on Facebook and other social media.
With our referral discount, for every person that you get to order from us, you'll get $20 of free veggies, or $20 off your own season membership..

#3: Volunteer on our farm! We're happy to have our members and other people come and give us a hand in our work.
It's great exercise, good to get your hands in the soil, and if it's that time of year, we'll send you home with some veggies on us.
