Detailed description is The Ladies Auxiliary was first formed November 10, 1922.
On April 29, 1949 it reorganized with 29 members, and has been running consistently ever since.

The Ladies Auxiliary was first formed November 10, 1922.
On April 29, 1949 it reorganized with 29 members, and has been running consistently ever since.
The object of the auxiliary is to assist the members of the Manasquan Volunteer Engine Co.
#2 in their financial and social affairs, when necessary.
Over the years the auxiliary has provided coffee and food to the firemen during large fires.
During storms we help at the fire house with evacuated persons.
We also help at any Firemen’s functions they might have..

The auxiliary sponsors many events to raise money for the firemen.
During the 50’s, the auxiliary sponsored bingo games, card parties, spaghetti dinners, and later we held Chinese Auction’s and many Raffles.
We are on our 41st year of the Flea Market held in Squan Plaza.
Currently we sponsor an Easter Bunny Lunch, sell Old Monmouth Easter Candy, and host a Wine/Beer Tasting Event in January..

In October 1962 a Scholarship was established for a Manasquan High School graduate, a local resident whose family is involved with the Fire Companies or First Aid Squad..

The Ladies Auxiliary meets on the third Wednesday of every month from September through June.
We are always looking for new members.
