She is (BASI) certified and holds a Master of Fine Arts-Dance from UH Manoa where she also was part of the dance faculty.
She has taught movement in many forms since the late 70’s.
In 1977 she fractured her back and discovered Pilates as a form of rehabilitation.
She traveled to NYC to work with Carola Trier, one of Joseph Pilates’ first teachers.
