Detailed description is Fashion sewing & design school for adults, teens & kids.
TV and video games compete for kids attention which doesn’t benefit them in the least but rather have negative affects.
However, clinical studies have proven that a hobby like sewing can boost a child’s creativity and self-esteem.
Likewise in today’s fast paced environment, learning to sew can be calming, reduce stress, and build self esteem in adults.
Unfortunately, the opportunities to learn how to sew are few.
Chicago Public Schools have removed sewing from the curriculum and classes to accommodate working adults are not that accessible..

A recent survey indicated that the majority of sewers are now over the age of 50.
This means an entire generation has little or no basic sewing skills.
My goal is to fill this gap by teaching sewing in a creative, encouraging environment for all ages and to ignite a whole new generation of sewers.
