تأسست مجموعة مستشفيات و مراكز مغربى فى عام 1955 كمستشفى للعيون بجـدة وهى أول مستشفى متخصص بالشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا واليوم هي أكبر المجموعات الطبية بالشرق الأوسط و أفريقيا العاملة فى مجال طب العيون و الأذن و الأنف و الحنجرة و الأسنان التي تقدم خدماتها سنويا لأكثر من مليون مريض كما تجري أكثر من مائة ألف جراحة..

في عام 1997 اندمجت مستشفبات و مراكز مغربي مع إيه إم آي السعودية المحدودة AMI Saudi Arabia Ltd و هي إحدى شركات مجموعة زينل ومن أكبر شركات إدارة المستشفيات بالشرق الأوسط.
