With the objective to harness the knowledge of science and technology for the welfare of the society, Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research, Pune (MAEER) was established on 21st June, 1983, under the Societies Registration Act.
(Trust Regn.
No F-2555, Pune, dated 24th October 1983).
MAEER was established as one of the pioneers of unaided educational conglomerate in the early 1980's to provide an alternative to the inadequate educational facilities provided by the Government.
