We are concerned with the new prospects of oil and gas development and hydro-fracking in Central Montana.
We are calling for a ban on all fracking and oil and gas development near sensitive areas, springs and recharge areas of the Madison Aquifer, as well as a moratorium on oil and gas development throughout the State of Montana until studies can be done to determine the risks and viable solutions to protect water sources, fishing and wildlife habitat and farming and ranching in Montana.
