Lynnhaven Inlet Fishing Pier has been Family Owned and Operated since 1956 and is considered by long-time residents to be a local landmark.
We are a completely wooden sport fishing pier located on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
We have approx.1480 ft.
(1/4 mile) of lighted Pier for fishing, crabbing, and your enjoyment.
We provide a convenience store/tackle shop (including a full line of bait and tackle), benches, cleaning stations, modern restroom facilities for your comfort.
We have proudly been serving local residents, families, and tourists for 61 years..

Our Tackle Shop employees are always ready, willing, and happy to provide helpful information and instruction if needed.
Not to volunteer them, but many of our regular customers are also willing and happy to help you out as well..

(typically May - sometime in October.
Call before you come prior to the first of May and after October 1st.).

SALTWATER FISHING LICENSE NOT REQUIRED WHILE ON PIER.
NOTE TO FISHERMEN: The state now requires ALL PERSONS age 16 and older who saltwater fish to register for FREE with the "Virginia Fisherman Identification Program" once a year.
If you already have a Virginia Saltwater Fishing License, you are already registered.
