My name is Lyndsay and I am 32 years old.
I have 15+ years experience with babysitting children and a little over 9 years of providing childcare services from my home.

I believe in using imaginations and hands-on play.
We are constantly kept busy with activities such as playing in the kiddie pool or sprinkler or building houses with blocks, crafts, learning numbers and letter...etc.
I have a fully fenced backyard so we are out a lot, weather permitting.

I am very interested and skilled in teaching letters, numbers, colors...etc through fun play.

I have as many references as needed from parents who have had their children here for long or short term care..

I have a no sick or illness policy to protect not only the other kids I have here, but yours as well.
Meaning no fever for at least 24 hours without fever reducers or nasty coughs with snotty noses...etc.
Ones kid bad cold is another's bronchitis.
I've learned my lesson on this point numerous times so now am firm on that point.

I am really good about keeping your child on their schedule with when they eat or nap.
As I am very aware that an off schedule, tired or hungry child is not a happy one.

My home is very clean and child proof.
We have a ton of toys, books...etc and I like to think I provide an "experience" for your child every day as opposed to just a place to go.

I have absolutely no criminal record, no misdemeanors and have never been in trouble with the law in any way.
I am a very moral, ethical person with a love and passion for children which is why I choose to do what I do.

ARE YOU LICENSED? .
No, I am not and would prefer not to be.
With being licensed, you can have more children and I am happy staying small and only offering 4 spots..

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?.
I try to stay in between 7:30am - 4:30pm.

DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD OR DO I BRING MY OWN?.
I am pretty flexible.
Whatever you prefer we can work out..

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES? .
They vary.
Depending on if your child is here full or part time, or just for a couple hours here and there..

DO YOU WATCH A LOT OF TV?.
No.
I am not against it, however the TV is not the babysitter, I am.
We occasionally will have a movie day here and there but the TV is on for no more than an hour each day.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE?.
We have set times for snacks, lunch and naps.
Other than that we go with the flow.
We spend time each day learning about the letters (we have a "letter of the week"), counting, colors, and being active..
