As the campus ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at the University of Michigan, we gather undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff together for worship, fellowship, and service activities..

LCM is also the home of Lord of Light Lutheran Church, which was formed in the 1970’s by faculty and former students from the University of Michigan who wanted to worship in a student-centered community.
Members currently help to support the campus ministry by worshiping with students and being a part of the campus ministry action team, which plans events and supports student activities..

During term, we meet on Sundays at 5pm for worship followed by dinner.
Bible studies take place in the coffee house downstairs at 10am Tuesdays, accompanied by coffee and bagels.
