Lamar University is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that recognizes all expressions of diversity and identity as we prepare students to thrive in a culturally diverse and global society.
The mission of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI), in collaboration with students, faculty, staff and administration, is to plan and implement programs and projects that build a community that values and respects the differences and commonalities that each and every individual brings to Lamar.
The goal of all programming is the focus on the needs of our diverse student body and to ensure that the right conditions are in place for each student to feel valued, respected and supported..
