Chosen Generation is Loyola University’s one and only gospel choir.
The choir was started in the Spring of 1998 by a group of students excited to spread God’s gospel and blessed with musical ability..

As news got around on campus about the choir, membership began to increase and the campus was given a valuable exposure to the vast realm of gospel music.
The choir, since then, has grown in popularity attracting members from various denominations and musical backgrounds..

Chosen Generation holds two concerts a year, one in the Fall semester and one during the Spring semester which usually feature visiting choirs from the area and surrounding colleges..

The mission of the choir is and has always been to create a positive and God fearing environment for a group of students ready and willing to spread Gods word through gospel music..

Chosen Generation also holds various other activities such as weekly bible study sessions, visits to Gallagher Center, and nights of fellowship and fun..
Rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesday nights @ 7pm in the Alumni Memorial Chapel.
