The 2013 Lower Richland Veterans Formation Chapter # 2 brings a day of celebration & family fun to Hopkins Park in Hopkins, South Carolina with an "all out" VETERANS DAY PARADE & CEREMONY to honor our Veterans from all branches of service..

On Saturday, November 9th military veterans and their families, friends, and neighbors are invited to come celebrate and participate in the PARADE which will begin at Lower Richland Blvd and Back Swamp Road and end at 150 Hopkins Park Road [Hopkins Park] in Lower Richland.
The Parade will begin at 12:00 NOON and the Ceremony will begin inside Hopkins Park will start at 1:00 pm.
#outside event; rain or shine!.

The parade will consists of veterans from all branches of service, marching bands, color guards, JROTC, live entertainment, veteran's motorcycle and classic cars, floats, community leaders, plus there will be FREE LUNCH for the community and celebrators and lot's more! .

This year's special guest speaker is South Carolina State Alumni (Retired, Major General) Abraham Turner, Guest Greeter (Retired, Colonel Chaplain) Clark McGriff, along with the entertainment sounds of Stellar Award Nominated Gospel recording artist LOWELL PYE (from the group MEN OF STANDARD).
