Joseph, who recently moved from Beaumont, TX, with his wife and four children, founded the practice and opened its doors on November 5th, 2012.
Dr.
Joseph graduated from the medical oncology and hematology fellowship program at LSU Hospital in Shreveport, LA, and is triple board certified.
He has immediate family in Louisiana, and is happy to come back to this state.
He has worked closely in the past with other cancer experts in Shreveport, as well as at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
His office is unique as he is set up with a physician portal to MD Anderson, and will be able to have access to patient records if his patient has gone to MD Anderson for an extent of care even if it was for a second opinion.
This gives patients the opportunity to receive the same quality of care from an institution like MD Anderson close to home..

The practice includes lab services, a chemotherapy infusion suite, and an electronic medical record system.
Louisiana Oncology follows the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines that have been formulated and updated by cancer experts from the leading institutions in the country.
