Detailed description is Loon Country Quilters was formed in 1983 by several area women interested in quilting and their legacy lives on in our current group of enthusiastic quilters.
Loon Country Quilters is a non-profit organization.
We have provided many quilts to Quilts for Vet's, Project Linus, Bear Hugs, Dignity Quilts, and Hospice Feely Hearts.
Quilting education is an important part of our group.
Every month we have a program or speaker and Show & Tell by members.
We host a biannual Quilt Show on the even years with 200 plus quilts.

MEMBERSHIP includes: once a month meeting, charitable work days, newsletter, access to the guild's lending library, programs or speakers, workshops, a discount card at Joanne's Fabric Shop, treats, Show & Tell by members, biannual Quilt Show (even years).
Loon Country Quilters has a growing number of members that have machine embroidery/sewing machines and offer a short meeting on the same day and place at 4:00pm to help embroiderers with questions.
The regular Loon Country Quilters meeting follows at 6:30pm.
