The dose of Botox Cosmetic is not the same, or even comparable to other botullinum toxin products.

Juvederm is a smooth gel filler made from a synthetic form of Hyaluronic acid, sugar molecules.
Hyaluronic acid is the natural substance/volume we are made of.
A compounded numbing cream (BTL-Benzocaine, Tetracaine and Lidocaine) is used prior to most injections and only takes about 20 minutes to take effect.
I use Juvederm Ultra XC, which lasts longer than regular Juvederm and gives you smooth natural-looking results that lasts up to a year, and longer.
Juvederm Ultra XC also has Lidocaine in it, which also deadens the skin immediately.

The peels I do are mild to "medium" peels, which are very effective, as the next level up, which is "strong", and requires anesthesia by a physician.
After one of my medium peels, you should allow at least 4-5 days to not wear make-up.
You will start to actually peel in about 3 days, like a sunburn, and then continue to peel over the next few days.
