LOHIT hostel was opened for residence of boys on 20-10-14.
It is the 10th boys hostel in IIT Guwahati Hostel fraternity.
It has turned out to be, so far, one of the best hostel in terms of cleanliness and infrastructure.
Once completed, it will be the largest hostel in IIT-G with a capacity of 956 rooms.
