Living Edge Treehouses developed organically during a delay in a restoration project I was scheduled to start in Plymouth MA Dec.
2013 During a very long delay a client of mine asked if I could build her kids a playhouse that resembled a treehouse and to use all reclaimed materials if possible.

I had been asked to do this a year prior in agreement I would build it when my time free'd up.
So I finally went to work on it in March of 2014.
I designed it from some verbal description of "Hobbit House".
As the little gem was being detailed out she posted a blog on "Newton Garden Mom's" to build a treehouse with Keith Lewis and within almost hours my phone began to ring.

I only started this company as the response has been so overwhelming it was obvious there was a demand for it.
Thanks to a popular TV show "Treehouse Masters" it seems that everyone is looking to relive their childhoods and to give their kids the same experience in the embrace of a favored tree or spot in the backyard..

Incorporating my Sustainable Design/Build Certification as well as my LEED certification in conjunction with over 25 years building experience, I have stumbled right back into the place I was at age 8 when I built my very first treehouse with my father in my backyard.
I guess you could say I have been a treehouse carpenter since 1987.......
