Detailed description is My name is Tessa Taylor.
I grew up here in Bozeman, MT, loving the woods and the mountains.
Growing up, I felt most at peace outside, in close proximity to the trees and the life force of nature.

I graduated from MSU-Bozeman in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Nursing.
I jumped into my nursing career full speed with a passion for learning and care taking.
In the year and a half I worked as a nurse at the hospital here in Bozeman, I learned A LOT! I walked away from nursing knowing that I had not yet found my dharma – my calling.
I knew that I wanted to work with people intimately and to provide people with a safe space to grow in their journey toward health.
In October 2016, just a few weeks after quitting my career as a nurse, I got on a plane and headed to the Kripalu School of Yoga in Massachusetts for a month-long 200HR Yoga Teacher Training (YTT).
Kripalu-style yoga is a collection of ancient teaching brought to the West from India.
This yoga is all-inclusive – meaning there are benefits and options for all body types, goals and desires.
Kripalu yoga gives emphasis to breath (the practice of pranayama) and the practice of mindful living and integration of yogic philosophy into life off of the mat.

After returning home from my YTT I started teaching at the studio where I have been practicing since 2012, Your Yoga Bozeman.
I’ve been teaching five classes per week and feel more inspired and excited with each class.
I returned to Kripalu in March 2017 to start my first of four 75HR modules to complete my 300HR YTT.

In February 2017 I completed Level 1 & 2 of Acutonics Institute of Integrative Medicine Training.
Learning and growing in the knowledge base and experience of yoga and sound healing has changed my life.
I am very honored and inspired to share this ancient wisdom with my community.
