Detailed description is No nonsense grooming! I have been grooming for over 8 years now.
I work out of my home, so it is a very relaxed environment.
I believe in grooming with love and patience.
What sets me apart from other groomers is I NEVER cage, and there are NEVER other customer's dogs in the same time as yours.
I DON'T CAGE DRY!.
1.
I go by appointment only, as I don't have cages.
It is not a typical "drop off" grooming facility.
Your dog(s) will be the only ones in the shop.

No "foo foo" grooms, i.e.
no painting nails or hair coloring, or hours of scissor cutting or matt removing.
Just a simple, clean cut!.
3.
I take appointments on Sunday, and some evenings...I work around YOUR schedule!.
4.
I am not a boarding facility (hence the no cages) so I require you to pick up your dog in the time you have been told, so I can be ready for the next customer :).
5.
A good groom is only as good as the dog, LOL.

I believe that the health of the dog comes first...the "pretty" part is just a bonus! I do an overall body check with each groom..

Please give 24 hours advance notice in the event of a cancellation.
After 2 cancellations within 24 hours of appointment, I must ask customers to prepay a non refundable deposit for future appointments.

Pets left in the shop more than one hour past the time you were instructed to pick up your doggie will be charged and extra $10 per hour, per dog.

I do not groom sedated pets, nor do I sedate pets in the shop.
I retain the right to refuse service to any pet I feel is unable to be groomed safely whether due to aggressiveness, age or health.

I WILL NOT GROOM AGGRESSIVE DOGS.

I take your pet's health and safety very seriously, and therefore will not dematt badly matted dogs.
I allot 15 minutes of dematting time; any pet requiring more than this amount of dematting will be clipped to avoid pain and frustration.
Extra fees will apply.

Pets with any communicable disease cannot be groomed until a written vet's note confirms they are no longer contagious.
Pets with open wounds or stitches will also not be groomed until they are healed properly.
This ensures safety for your pet, other pets, and myself.

I welcome senior and special-needs pets, however, their comfort comes first and foremost in the planning of their styling.
When your pet checks in, we will discuss appropriate hair style options.
Throughout the groom, your pet's safety and comfort take precedence over cosmetic desires.

Little Shop accepts cash, check, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER.
A returned check fee will be applied to the original bill when necessary.

Prices are based on a pet's size, coat condition, and temperament.
All prices displayed in the shop, on the website, or given over the phone are estimates based on breed standards.
Extra fee can include matted or severely unkempt coats, or difficult pets.

Due to insurance regulations, pet parents are NOT allowed in the grooming area during the groom.
This is too distracting to the dog, and could cause harm to him or her.
You are welcome to wait quietly in the waiting room until the groom is completed..

Tours of the groom facility are welcome and encouraged! I appreciate that you want the safest, cleanest and most comfortable environment for your doggies!.
