We are blessed to be in the business of breeding and boarding thoroughbreds.
What a rewarding life we’ve had in this business.
Of Bob’s 45 years in the business, 15 years was spent managing horse farms for others, while Alice was working in the corporate world..
LRF was established in 1984 in Pauls Valley, Okla.
just 1 hour south of Oklahoma City.
However, in 1997 the business was moved to our present location just south of Versailles, KY in the heart of the Bluegrass, Woodford County.
We have 33 acres, turnkey operation with a large barn, divided pastures, and a 3470 sq.
ft.

Woodford County is agriculture at its best, two lane roads, no traffic and lots of green grass.

LRF has recently hired two hard working young ladies, Melissa and Haley from our local Midway College to help us through our 2014 foaling and breeding season.
These young ladies have hearts for the industry as Midway College has an equine education program which offers several advanced degrees in the equine industry.
Melissa lives at the farm in housing provided for her..
Along with their farm work Melissa and Haley will be adding regular posts to our Face book page.
