Where we raise Bourbon Red Heritage Turkeys, keep honey bees, and grow garlic in Chatfield, Minnesota.
Welcome to Little Bend Heritage Farm.
My name is Steve Berg and along with my wife raise Bourbon Red Heritage turkeys.
We chose to raise heritage turkeys the way Nature intended by giving them plenty of room to walk while they eat grass, bugs, and seeds the food nature gives them.
They roam around taking dirt baths to stay clean and pest free the natural way.
Also, we use NO antibiotics EVER!!.
We started off with a small flock and we raise ALL our turkeys from start to finish.
We replenish our flock by selective breeding of our hens and toms.
Each Spring we collect, incubate and hatch the eggs in our incubators.
We teach each poult to drink and eat.
We raise them on an all-natural diet and let them roam in the pasture during the day and let them roost up in shelters at night.
